With support from the City of Bellevue Community Programming Fund, the Moonlight Melodies concert was successfully held at Factoria Mall on October 4, 2025. The event celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival through music, dance, and cultural activities, creating a joyful gathering that connected residents of all ages and backgrounds.
About 60 young volunteers contributed to the event. A total of 320 freshly baked mini mooncakes and 100 holiday ornaments were distributed to attendees.
Although scheduled during a typically quiet time at the mall (5:00–6:30 PM), the event exceeded expectations with its lively turnout and warm atmosphere. Families, seniors, and shoppers gathered to enjoy youth-led musical performances, traditional Chinese dance, and martial arts. The event successfully activated the Factoria Mall plaza as a cultural hub, transforming a retail space into a vibrant site of community connection.
Audience engagement was strong. Many attendees stayed for the entire program, took photos, and interacted with the performers afterward. Parents expressed appreciation for the opportunity to experience authentic East Asian traditions locally, while seniors shared their joy and nostalgia for familiar cultural celebrations.
Through Moonlight Melodies, young performers developed confidence, leadership, and teamwork skills, while community members gained a deeper understanding of cultural diversity and unity.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the Bellevue City Community Programming Fund, Hungry Panda, T4, and Panera Bread for their generous support in making this event possible. We look forward to the opportunity to bring the community together again next year for an even more engaging and joyful celebration.
