On Sunday, September 7, 2025, our Performing for Seniors Program had the pleasure of joining the residents at Belle Harbour Senior Living to celebrate National Grandparents Day. It was a heartwarming afternoon filled with music, laughter, and intergenerational connection.
Our talented young performers brought joy to the residents in both Assisted Living and Memory Care through beautiful music, graceful dance, and heartfelt performances. The residents smiled, clapped along, and shared in the energy and warmth brought by the kids. Many of them expressed how much it meant to have this special celebration in their honor.
A couple of residents shared:
“Your visit made this Grandparents Day so special. Seeing the kids perform and share their love was the best gift.” “I thought you were all from the same music school! I couldn’t believe you’re volunteers from different areas and different schools. You did a wonderful job, and we truly appreciate it!”
We are deeply grateful to Belle Harbour for inviting us to be part of this meaningful day and for warmly welcoming our young performers and volunteers. A huge thank you to the performers, parents, and volunteers whose time and efforts made this event possible.
Moments like this remind us why our Performing for Seniors Program exists - to bring joy, create connections, and celebrate community. We look forward to returning to Belle Harbour soon to make more cherished memories together!
