The afternoon of August 31, the Performing for Seniors Program at Little Masters Club proudly presented the Melodies for Love Fundraising Concert at Kin On Community Center.
Since its founding in 2021, Performing for Seniors has been dedicated to bringing music, dance, and cultural performances to senior homes across the Greater Seattle area.
Today’s event carried an even deeper purpose - raising funds to support Kin On in its mission of caring for our seniors with love and dignity. The concert featured an inspiring lineup of youth performers sharing music, dance, and cultural artistry, as well as special remarks from Bellevue City Councilmember Jared Nieuwenhuis and Kin On Board Member Nella Kwan.
We are thrilled to share that through the generosity of our community, this fundraising event successfully raised $3,500 in donations for Kin On. This contribution will help Kin On continue providing compassionate care and services to seniors in our community.
Before the end of the concert, we also held a special award distribution ceremony. The Achievement Award was presented to newly joined performers in recognition of their dedication and talents, while the Recognition Award was given to those who have stayed with us for years, honoring their long-term commitment to serving seniors through music and cultural arts. This celebration of service and dedication highlighted the spirit of our program： building bridges across generations through consistent effort and love.
